lawsuit? yesterday i bought a very quality premium domain via godaddy. today it is someone elses.?
I have a receipt saying i bought it and the whois data even changed it to my name. 20 hours later i get an error email and that my money has been reimbursed. the whois data says its someone elses domain now (and that they’ve had it the whole time and for a long time). how is this possible? I called the help line and they said the domain shouldn’t have even been available to buy, so they weren’t sure how it happened. the domain is probably worth $10,000 (bought it for $497) and that’s why i’m freaking pissed. what should/can i do?
There’s nothing you can do. It was already spoken for. They can’t duplicate it, therefore you are SOL.
