How much is the renewal price of a $500 premium domain .com name?

How much is the renewal price of a $500 premium domain .com name? How much is it to keep it for another year? Do I have to pay $500 to renew the domain, or $10?

10$ , you only pay the 500$ once ( it goes to the old owner )

  2. For premium domain, you pay premium price once. In future, renewal rate is the usual low rate charged for that TLD e.g. .com.

  3. It depends on the registrar you are holding it with and the extension and what their prices are at that time, usually fluctuate.

For instance .info is $1.99 and .com is $11.99 at GoDaddy now. You can also find renewal coupons at most registrars that will bring the price down.

I hope this helps, good luck!

  4. When a domain is said to be "premium" it means that this is a name that has been registered by a domain investor who is willing to sell it at the price indicated. The current owner pays the usual renewal fees of the domain per year (say $10 for a .com). When you buy the domain from him/her the domain is transferred to you and you will be the new owner who will pay those renewal fees per year.

BTW, sometimes sellers give you the option to negotiate that premium price, in that case it will be listed as "make offer", if they like your offer they’ll accept it and the sale is done, if they’re not sure if they can get a better offer from someone else they will send it to auction. Other case is "Make offer or Buy now" where they are willing to sell at the indicated price immediately unless you have an offer to make, if they like your offer they can either accept it or send it to auction (they’ll send it to auction ofcourse). Lastly, they will list it as "buy now" so you can just buy it.
