Could somebody recommend a place to get free premium domains?
Im hosting a free site on webnode but it has one of those sub-domains, is there any way to get a free premium domain (.com, .co.uk, etc.) so that I can attach it to the site and also to get a site email with google apps, thanks
First, make a website of iWeb, or on windows, pure html. then go to godaddy.com, or angelfire.com (i like godaddy.com more), and search any url to make sure it is not taken already. when you have decided, you can order a .com, .net, .biz, .us, or . whatever u want. u can also put a email message for name@domainname.com.

The reason why you can only get a subdomain for free is because they cost absolutely no money to make. If a company were to give out free domain names, they would have to pay for every domain they register, as domain registration requires a fee.
What you are asking for is incredibly ridiculous to ask for at no cost. You have to be realistic with your budget. Don’t expect something that would normally cost someone hundreds of dollars for free.
