Lowering taxes has a higher multiplier than any other form of stimulus. You can go to the CBO to see that for yourself.
By lowering taxes its usually inferred that its for business more than individuals. It actually brings more revenue and over taxes does the opposite. Look up Laffer Curve.
Also its not the republicans solution to lower taxes its the science of economics that says so.
I think yo uneed to take some econ courses then come and talk to me.

The entire Republican mantra is one gigantic strawman argument. That their opposition is “welfare queens, terrorist supporters, and communists.” SO I’m really getting a kick out of you mentioning that.

Lowering taxes does not do much but underfund the government at a critical time, especially if they are already historically low to start with. The Republican solution to everything is to lower taxes. By the way, taxes did get lowered, just not for the wealthy classes.

Normally you issue gap loans and back certain assets to allow consumption of failing companies by non failing companies.

You lower taxes and provide incentives for private business’ to expand.

But the strawman arguement you made was pretty typical of all liberals so Im not suprised.

Actually quite a few Republicans have said “let the market fix itself”. Though that was not necessarily McCain’s stance, although I’m not entirely certain what his was — he seemed to change views with the wind. But there has been no alternative marketed by congressional Republicans. Thus we can assume status quo.
