I checked out wordpress.com. That's not your domain name. That's their domain name. You have a blog page under the wordpress.com site. If you want to own your own domain name, you have to register for it and pay for it. It's like buying a piece of property on the internet. You own the address after you pay for it and it's registered under your real name. I got my own domain names from Bluedomino.com, but there are lots of other sites where you can buy your own domain name if it is not yet taken. Yahoo even has a domain registration site: http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/domains/
References :
TO let your Domain be found on Search Engines
Just add them manually but i do think I forgot it
You can add your domain though but it will rise from the thousands of searches
If it is clicked and visited tremendously

Unless you can format the HTML files you need to add a Meta Tag
References :
You paid Wordpress for a domain name, which is fine. What you're confusing that is with Google's ability to find your site.

Try going to www.(yoursite).wordpress.com. Then try it without the .wordpress

If it works without the .wordpress you're good to go. Your next step is trying to get Google and Yahoo to index your blog. Go here for google: http://www.google.com/addurl/
References :
Search engines can take some time to index a new domain name. If you just purchased it, give the search engines a little time to find your site and index it. After that it should show up in the search results.

If you type in http://www.yourdomain.com in your web browser does it take you to your blog?
