FreeWebs and iWeb? Please!?
Hey everyone!
I am new to these website things, so I need help!
I want to create a website using my iWeb application. I looked at Freewebs, and if I become a premium member, I get a domain name (www.example.com). Now, if I do that, do I get hosting aswell? And do I get FTP access so I can use iWeb to make my website?

Yes you do, you can do anything from freewebs. But there are cheaper alternatives, you will have to look. But yes you get hosting and yes you get s domain name.

Hosting is one of the points, you only have to pay $10 a year for the domain name.
If you want to do your project in iWeb, I recommend Apple’s own solution, MobileMe.
If that’s not feasible, I recommend 1&1 or DreamHost.

Suggestion: forget Free/Webs and choose http://one.com have a look at their website and you understand why. You get everything you need and even much more for just the price of a can of beer per month, guess you will like them.
I use one.com in combination with http://www.flashfxp.com/index.php works very fine together.
Freewebs does not take it’s users serious. With other hosts I spend most time on try getting my money back.
