Stuck.. website building help please?
i have bought a domain name, and i have built a website using wix.com and paid for premium service, but im not too sure how to connect the 2 together.
i really want to get this sorted as i am paying for it!! thanks
Why are you wasting your time asking here on YA? You paid for premium hosting?????!! Go to Support at wix.com and CALL their support number or use the LiveChat service if they have one.
You must log into your control panel at wix.com and make sure the nameservers have been set up for your domain name. It takes up to 48-hours for the servers to pick your site up.

As I know you need to download 2 programs in order to connect them;
1. nvu
2. filezilla
Go to Google.com, search them and download those 2 files

You will have to contact their (wix.com) support – normally you will need to update DNS server entries at the site where you registered your domain to point to DNS servers of your host (wix.com). When this is done it will take up to 24 hours for this information to propagate to all DNS servers around the globe.

As you have told that you have already bought a Domain Name, i want to confirm whether you had also bought WebHosting or Hosting Space to upload or host your website files. If not you need to Buy WebHosting space and then upload the design files on to that Host for the Website to work.

I too am getting very frustrated I thought when you upgraded it automatically makes your domain they should they don’t even let you know about all the hassle then it says I have to buy a domain for go daddy and it says that domian is taken I don’t know what to do….
