Coming on board in 2001, Tim has managed the daily operations from the "wild west" years of selling online to the full throttle ecommerce world we enjoy today. He is also our webmaster and directs the marketing efforts.

She's been slinging gear for well over a decade, and brought her skills to The Zoo in 2009. You'll catch Jess playing drums and guitar in various rock and metal bands in New York. Her favorite players include Ritchie Blackmore and Tony Iommi. It's also possible she is the secret love child of Nikki Sixx and Lita Ford.

Rose was born in Queens, NY and studied music at Hunter College in the city. She grew up listening to bands such as Pearl Jam, Tool, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana and Sleater-Kinney. She plays lead guitar in a '90s riot grrrl cover band, as well as plays guitar and fronts hard rock / metal band DRELLA.

Filling just about any role in countless Long Island-based bands for a decade, Eric has accumulated a strong understanding of all kinds of musical gear. With musical tastes ranging from bands such as Glassjaw to artists like Elliott Smith, Eric finds himself inspired by good song-writing in any guise.

In ecommerce management for over a decade, Pete manages product flow and data vital to our online sales. He's also the guy responsible for our Free Gear Giveaways, concert tix, and artist meet & greets. Currently best friends with Ace Frehley, Misha Mansoor, Andreas Kisser, and Rex Brown, this lover of all things Metal, Hardcore and Rock is a craft beer enthusiast and die hard Islanders fan.

Jordan is the guy who writes our product descriptions, lists all of the gear you see on The Music Zoo website, and is responsible for the funny Instagram posts. He’s a Queens native, and spends his time rearranging his pedalboard and dragging his gear to gigs around the city.

Garrett began playing at 13, learning blues and roots music from his father, an avid Gibson player with several vintage pieces. He studied classical guitar and now resides in Brooklyn playing in numerous bands and projects.

On all sides of the lens since birth, Nick developed a passion for acting, video, and photo production at a young age. He began making short films and productions with his friends at 13 years old. On his free time you can catch him jamming with friends, taking photos, filming improv sketches, and playing video games.

A CT native who spent his formative years in the Greater Boston area, Peter has been a musician from a young age. He studied Music Business at UMass Lowell, where he also developed his gear nerd tendencies. He was the head of, and instrumental in the development of Manchester Music Mill's internet sales department before moving bravely to the rival city of NY to be with us.

Favorite Gear: Empty Pedalboards, Marshall JTM45s and Superbasses, Fender-scale P-90 loaded guitars, vintage parlor guitars.

Adam has been playing guitar and bass for 14 years and has been modding and tinkering with gear for nearly as long. He was trained in guitar repair at the Eastern School of Fretted Instrument Repair and when not playing out or setting up instruments, he can be found circuit bending old tape reel to reel machines.

Favorite Gear: Extended Range fretless basses, analog tape delays, and tweed Fender amps.

Formerly an employee of Crossroads Music, Rick has made the move west to join The Music Zoo team. Primarily a drummer, he also plays guitar and enjoys fixing and modifying the guitars in his collection. Musical influences include Jethro Tull, The Flaming Lips and Pink Floyd.

Bobby is a songwriter and bassist, who has performed in a number of Top 40 cover bands since 1977 and lived through the heyday of the rock scene in New York City. He worked for Music Services in Wantagh, NY with legendary proprietor Gary Blankenburg, and presently consults on vintage and used gear for The Music Zoo.

Favorite Gear: Vintage Basses

Gary has been a guitar fanatic for decades and has the worst case of GAS we've ever seen. He has owned and run Music Services for many years and virtually every guitar player in NYC and Long Island has dealt with him at some point. He is our inspiration for continuing to chase new gear, tinker with new ideas, and take apart our Telecasters.
