Jackson At The Music Zoo

The Music Zoo is an Authorized Jackson Dealer! Shop for your Jackson Guitar on our site now, or visit our showroom on Long Island, New York! Jackson Guitars were started in 1980, as Grover Jackson took over the shop he worked at from Wayne Charvel. Soon after Jackson was started, a young guitarist by the name of Randy Rhoads (you might have heard of him) approached Jackson to create a customized guitar that Rhoads had drawn on a napkin. Dubbed the ‘Concorde’ – the radically shaped guitar was unlike anything in the guitar community had seen before – and combined with Rhoads’ lightning in a bottle playing, Jackson Guitars were started off already making a name for themselves! Flash forward to today, where Jackson Guitars have developed into a worldwide brand, with models that are the go-to instruments for shredders and guitarists who need their guitar to feel like a muscle car: fast, and seamless playability. Whether you like the neck-through construction of a Jackson Soloist, the bolt-on responsiveness of a Dinky, or the wild shapes of a Kelly or King V – there is a Jackson for you!

The artist roster at Jackson is no joke! Players such as Phil Collen of Def Leppard, Adrian Smith of Iron Maiden, Marty Friedman, Mark Morton of Lamb of God, Mick Thomson of Slipknot, Misha Mansoor of Periphery and Phil Demmel all play signature Jackson models which are available at The Music Zoo!
